Ms. Naomi School manager
I have been an assistant teacher and office staff at Kailua International School since 2008. I took office as School Manager in 2014. The educational base of the school is a world without discrimination. Accept opponent. Self-assert. Starting with communicating in a complete English environment, we will enhance individual discussion skills in small classes. We continue to create a curriculum for doing not only English education but also an opportunity to derive a child’s unknown ability, a multidirectional curriculum, and a school programing. Students master English as their native language and we support families. Please come and experience KAILUA with your family.
Mr. Gomez Principal
When the children come to school in the morning with refreshing smiles and then leave at the end of the school day with the same bright facial expressions, then we know that they must be happily learning. The principal who has a ubiquitous smile is a veteran in international education. Prior to joining Kailua International School, he was a long-term educator at three other international schools. He held various positions as teacher, principal, headmaster, education consultant, and admissions director. His educational background and experiences had been strengthened by his participation in international educators conferences and workshops in Europe, Asia, and the United States. As a leader, he prides himself in being a motivator of students, teachers and colleagues. He always accentuates the positive. The principal invites and welcomes you to visit Kailua International School and see and feel the Aloha Spirit.
Ms. Glenda Regular Home-roomGakudo School
Teaching in this institution for 5years has brought out the best in me. I enjoy teaching in Kailua and most of all I love my students. I’m a strong believer in parental involvement in education. I think the best education happens when educators include families in the learner’s academic progress because parents and family members can extend, review, practice and apply new knowledge at home. My name is Glenda Parino, an enthusiastic and dedicated educator from the Philippines. I have been in the field of teaching for two decades. This is my 15th year living and working in Japan.
Ms. Delia Regular Home-roomGakudo School
I, Delia Francisco, have obtained my Bachelor of Science in Education degree in the Philippines. My field of specialization is English. I taught English in high school for 17 years in my country, 1 year as an Assistant Language Teacher in junior high school and as a Kindergarten Teacher for 7 years in Japan. Teaching and being with children has been one of the best spices that makes my life fulfilling. For me, "education begins when a teacher has set the child’s mind and heart to understand and focus on the things around him".
